In May 2015, I visited my youngest son Nick (pictured left in the orange shirt, at Ceres) through his work as Associate Chef/Teen Coordinator at Ceres Community Project in Northern California. When I learned about the amazing life-giving care they provide through food and visits from Delivery Angels, while also training teens to be health-conscious consumers and community-minded citizens, I knew it was an idea ripe for the Madison area.
Please help us bring comfort, nourishment and healing meals from the heart.
After chemotherapy, I am so tired. With the meals I don’t have to worry when I don’t have energy to stand, cut up and cook food. The meals help with depression because I don’t have to think about what I can’t do. I am making better choices and not getting junk food.
My family and I really enjoyed the food! We were so amazed with the selection and fresh flavors of everything. It was a wonderful experience.
